Anna Maria Williams; Artist, photographer, lecturer, facilitator.
Anna has an MA in documentary Photography and a London University degree in Modern languages. She has worked in Higher education as well as having had a studio on Eel Pie Island Twickenham. She participated in the SAFTA award winning Leathermarket Community Sculpture Project in Bermondsey, which resulted in a permanently-sited sculpture in Central London recycling the stone of many of the most well-known London landmarks.
Her early teaching and facilitation work focused on diversity and inclusivity within communities.
Anna was the co-producer of Shimon Attie’s ‘the Attraction of Onlookers’, (Welsh Arts Council and Welsh Government) which is now in the National Gallery for Wales. In addition, Anna worked as researcher for the award-winning BBC documentary ‘An American in Aberfan.’
