AN ARTS EXTRAVAGANZA
I am proud to announce that I am organising the launch event for the Abergavenny Arts Festival, which will be a glittering Fashion, Arts and Music Extravaganza.
It will be held on Thursday, April 16th from 7.00-10.30pm at the ballroom of the historic award-winning Angel Hotel, and promises to be a night to remember, with a taste of what the Festival will offer, with fashion, art, music, and entertainment, as well as exhibiting artists on the night.
The Abergavenny Arts Festival, which will be held on Saturday, June 20th at the Abergavenny Castle grounds and surrounding area, and its aim is to embrace and promote all of the Arts and to be all in-clusive of genders, race and culture.
The launch event, for the Arts Festival 2020, aims to raise funds for the Arts Festival to enable it to support local Artists and initiatives.
Opening with the lovely flautist Kathy Batchelor performing at the sparkling reception, accompanied by a dancer.
Singer, Russell Jones Jr, who was in Boys Aloud and was on the X Factor who has a Michael Bubléstyle, but also performs songs from the Jungle book, which will appeal to our younger audience.

He sang at the Cardiff International Film Festival, the Introbiz business after Ball at the Vale Resort, and will sing at the Wales Fashion week too! He will entertain us with some hits from the musicals.

Message from Vivienne Sharman-Lewis
It is a home coming for me as I organised two fashion shows and Abergavenny’s first business Exhibition at the Angel in 2010, on behalf of the Welsh Warriors, and also organised other events in the town.
We are hoping that the town will help us to support and promote "Arts for All", to inspire creativity, that is necessary, not only for the Arts, but to foster the innovation that is now needed for Wales to flourish on the international stage.
Attaching some images from my last show at the Angel in 2012 and some of this years entertainers, flautist Kathy Batchelor, Russell Jones Jr, and head-liner, Cai Williams.
