The Diversity of sculpture-making in Wales – June 15th – July 15th 2018
Exhibited in the Abergavenny Castle Grounds The Creative Pool of sculpture from across Wales will provide an opportunity for the public to experience a representation of the very best of Wales made works. This free exhibition of some 25 sculptures will demo1nstrate a variety of styles and working practises to realise art works both abstract and figurative.
On the Saturday of the Festival Harvey Hood Ex Hd of Sculpture to Cardiff College of Art, will give an introductory talk on `Understanding and reading Sculpture`. Ben Dearnley will have on site a stone carving workshop where he will demonstrate his skills and offer `have a go` opportunities to carve soft stone.
