Clarissa obtained a degree in fine art painting, qualified as an art teacher, then enjoyed a varied teaching career interspersed with having four children and practicing as a painter. She also enjoys printmaking and stone carving.
Clarissa currently runs an art class (called Papillon) in Abergavenny for people suffering from various mental health issues. She also holds an ‘en plein air’ painting day from her farm outside Abergavenny once a month. She is very happy to be part of this team working towards the Abergavenny Arts festival that will showcase the vast amount of talent and creativity in this area.
